Meet Hockey
Hockey loves his humans, and he wasted no time bonding with and showing love to his foster family.
Hockey is potty trained and kennel trained. He knows the command “Come”, and he LOVES praise from humans. He wags his tail and loves hugs. He does great with cats in the home. He is very submissive and often rolls on to his back to show submission.
It doesn’t take much to scare Hockey. When he is overwhelmed he hides behind his people until he feels safe to come out again. His self esteem is improving every day when he gets love and praise. After two weeks in foster care he finally felt confident enough to bark- alerting us to rambunctious squirrels playing in the yard.
Hockey loves the snow and enjoys playing, jumping and chasing bunnies in the backyard. He would do well with people (or dogs) that will play with him
Hockey firmly believes he is a lap dog. He will wiggle his way onto your lap and into your heart.
