Meet Hobbs
Meet Hobbs!
Name: Hobbs
Age: 5 months
Best guess breed: Dachshund or corgi mix
Height/weight: Low-rider, 21.5lbs
Rockstar qualities:
Loves everyone; dogs cats and kids.
Leash, crate, and potty trained as well as some boundary training with doors.
Sweet as pie.
Very food motivated (but won't ever be tall enough to counter surf ?).
Has 9 tricks in his toolbelt already and is eager to learn more, very quick thinker.
No more super sharp puppy teeth.
Lets his foster mom grind his toenails.
Great cuddler (once the puppy sillies are out).
Sleeps in goofy/upside down positions.
Passes the dangle test with flying colors.
Working very hard in his foster home to improve on this next section...
Things to work on:
Being calm when meeting new people/dogs, he just loves everyone SO much.
Very bouncy (usually just up in the air and not "at" you, but as he's still a puppy he sometimes loses control and tries to jump in for a good smooch).
Slight FOMO.
Being gentle with smaller dogs.
Being less interested in being a cats best friend (a confident cat could likely sway his opinion with a little swipe).
Afraid of heights.
**Due to Hobbs loving to jump a home with older children would be best. Probably 10 years+
