Meet Henry!

This handsome guy is about 2 years old and we're guessing a mini-Goldendoodle weighing around 18 pounds.

Henry loves other dog companions and his person that he trusts. He eventually will warm up to strangers- it just takes him a little more time. He is a bit skiddish at first because of his past. Henry has come a long way in learning that people can be good. He spent time on the run until he was captured and sent to the pound. Being alone scared and cold without any creature comforts was a hard time for this sweet boy. He needs someone who is willing to be patient and kind with him.

Once Henry bonds with you, he is completely adoring. He does like to show off his singing voice... and sing the song of his people. What we're learning about Henry is that he does have distrust of some men, and is fearful of children so we require a home without young children. We would highly prefer that Henry goes to a home with another dog to also help him feel confident. Since being sprung from the pound, Henry's personality is starting to shine through, and he's a playful and happy guy now that he knows he's safe.

Henry is crate trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. We’re working on his separation anxiety so that will take some patience and time with him.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
