Meet Henry the Handsome Hound! He is a 3.5 month old neutered male Pointer/Hound mix. Henry says, “Foster home life is pretty nice. You can watch the tv thing while you get pet, you can nap during meetings and get to go in the yard to potty or lay in the sun. This family keeps telling me how great I am at learning new things and my foster siblings even let me steal their toys, we have been getting along great.” From Henry’s foster - We have never fostered a Hound puppy more easier to train and more balanced than this one. His manners, leash walking skills and calm in crate are on point. He is so gentle with kids too. He will make a loyal family companion. Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $525, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $450, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $350 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

Henry is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $525 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
