This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Henrietta (aka Henri) - a sweet roughly 6 month old, Bull Terrier mix, who weighs about 26 pounds (as of 10/12/24). She was found as a stray by her now fosters, and since entering their care, she has absolutely thrived! How has this beautiful girl been posted on our website FOR THREE MONTHS already?

Her fosters share: "Henrietta, also known as Henri, is an absolute doll! She is outgoing and has the sweetest personality. She is also really funny and will keep you laughing. She loves everyone she meets - especially kids (we recommend 8 YO + since she is an active pup)! Thought she is getting out of her puppy stage because she has great manners and is learning many commands and tricks. She is such a smart girl!! She would make a great addition to a family with young kiddos running around. She is also wonderful with other dogs and cats. She is house trained and crate trained too. And if you let her she is more than happy to sleep with you and snuggle! Henri also loves to ride with you in the car. She is potty trained and sleeps through the night. It's hard to resist her puppy dog eyes. You will fall in love with her instantly! She is the sweetest girl!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
