Heaven is a gentle and affectionate 5 year old pup who is eagerly waiting for his forever home. With a heart full of love, he’s ready to share his life with a caring family. Heaven gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. His friendly nature ensures that he’ll fit right in with your existing furry friends, bringing harmony and joy to your home.

At first, Heaven can be a bit shy, but don’t let that fool you—once he warms up to you, he becomes an incredibly snuggly companion. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of having this sweet boy curl up beside you, soaking in affection and providing comfort in return. His loyalty and love will shine through as you build a bond together.

Heaven does experience some anxiety during grooming, but with a little patience and gentle handling, he will learn to trust the process. This is just another opportunity for you to show him that he is safe and loved. With your support, he will grow more confident and comfortable in his new surroundings. He is not fully housebroken and is currently using a belly band while inside - we're hoping that work from his foster and positive reinforcement for going outside, as well as his neutering, will solve that. He is 14 lbs.

Heaven is fully vetted except his neutering, which he is on the schedule for at our vet. That is included in his adoption fee, even if he is adopted before that date.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada for puppies who haven’t yet gotten their rabies shot - sorry!)
