Meet Hayes (ID 45430/345)
Introducing Hayes, a neutered Pit Bull Terrier mix estimated to be 1-3 years old. Hayes came into our care as a stray, so we do not have a history on him with children, other dogs or cats, but he does seem interested in meeting other dogs. Hayes is calm, friendly, has good leash manners, is house trained and seems to be one of those dogs that can be taken anywhere and is up for any adventure. He would make a great running or hiking partner, but he also knows how to relax when playtime is over. One of our dog walker volunteers recently took Hayes for a run and he did great! He kept up a steady pace the entire way without pulling or stopping, other than a quick bathroom break. Afterwards he was happy to take his treat and relax. If you are looking for a move-in ready dog who will fit seamlessly into your lifestyle, Hayes may be a perfect fit.
