Hawk is a bouncy pogo stick of a pup! He loves to jump repeatedly. As he can clear 3-4 feet, a fence will need to be a bit taller to contain him as a safety precaution unless you leash walk him everywhere. He is a very loving boy who adores attention and meets no strangers. He gets along with other dogs and ignores cats.

Hawk wants nothing more than to be with his person. If you sit down, he will be on your lap. Leash training is progressing, and given how much Hawk loves people, he is more than eager to follow someone on leash. However, he loves just as much to play with other gentle dogs in a fenced area too.

Hawk needs to wear a belly band initially due to marking, and he will need a consistent schedule to get house training.

Children, if present, should be over the age of 7 as Hawk is quite the jumper and could easily knock a small child down on accident when playing.
