Hawk German Shepherd Dog West Milford, NJ

This young beauty, Hawk, is approx. 2 y/o and is so much fun to be around!
Hawk is in foster; adoptable through us. He loves playing fetch and tug-o-war. He gets all the compliments on the street due to his size and beautiful coat. Hawk's an energetic guy who always wants to walk, play, and work, but he knows how to settle himself down in his crate. He's recently been through training and his new adopter will need the knowledge of how to help him through stressful situations. Hawk is fully potty trained, sleeps in his crate and loves to be with people! He can be adopted to a family with children 12 years or older. He would be great as your only dog, but per Hawk's foster: "He coexists fine with my dog, but he is very excitable, so it would have to be the 'right dog' for him to be paired with."

If you're interested in adopting Hawk, being that he's in a foster home, your very first step is to stop in at the shelter to fill out a pre-adoption form. We'll call your vet for a reference and then contact Hawk's foster who will contact you. He will set up an appointment for you to meet Hawk at his home. Believe us, Hawk is worth the extra steps for adoption!

We do not adopt first come; we always adopt to the best home for our animals and require approval from our dog committee. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you can have a dog. Also bring your Vet's information to so we can conduct a vet check (and please let your Vet know we will be making a call).

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs. Our animals are fully vetted before being placed for adoption, and spayed/neutered if they are old enough.
