Meet Harper! Harper is an energetic and playful girl at heart who is ready for a home to call her own. Harper had a challenging start in life and was living as a stray before coming into our care at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center - which she has since graduated from! She is a resilient pup who is eager to get all the treats, toys and love she could possibly hope for from her new family.

Big fan of: Off-leash time in a secure outdoor space! Harper embraces her playful, wild side when she's in a large, fenced-in backyard or field, roaming and zooming around to her heart's content. She is great at keeping herself entertained by throwing her favorite stuffed toys in the air, or if a dog friend is around, she loves to engage in chase or playful wrestling. She has even been known to enjoy a game of tug! Once playtime is over, Harper becomes a total cuddle bug. She might even love petting and relaxing with people as much as, if not more than, tasty treats!

Working on: Her confidence. Harper can initially be nervous of new people or places, but she warms up quickly with the help of her favorite treats! Food is certainly the way to her heart. With some patience and by helping her feel secure in her new home, she will blossom into her best, goofiest self. This sweet girl is worth the wait! Harper also loves to learn and enjoys working on her training, which will help make every day with her fun and filled with joy!

Dream home: Harper would love to have a family who can engage her energetic side with regular playtime and on-leash walks! They should also understand that some things in life may be scary at first, so they should be ready to help her feel safe with a little patience and support. She is looking for a dedicated adopter who will help her continue her journey to becoming the best, most loving canine companion around. Harper would love to have another dog friend in the home, but she would also do well as the only pet.
