Hank Williams, friendly guy Black Mouth Cur Mix Hagerstown, MD

Meet Hank. What a great dog he is. Found in a rural area homeless and taken into the Paws and Claws Foster program while he has gotten all the necessary vetting to be available for adoption.

Hank is approx. 15 months old and weighs 70 pounds. We are not sure of his breed. He looks like he might be Anatolian Shepherd mix or Black Mouth Cur. He will get bigger but probably not much. He is neutered, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease (both negative), vaccinated and microchipped.

Hank is a loving and playful boy. He enjoys playing fetch and romping with visiting dogs. He would love to play with the cats but they run and he tries to catch them. Not to hurt them but to play with them. They are not interested.

Hank spends days at doggie daycare and loves it. He sleeps quietly in a crate at night. He is such a good boy.

He walks well on a leash and is eager to please his foster mom. We think he would enjoy dog savvy children over the age of 8. He would also enjoy another dog to play with or play dates to romp with other dogs.
