Hank "Ready for It" Black Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Danbury, CT

“Are you ready for it?” - if this sounds like you, allow us to introduce our very own HANK, who just wants you to “keep him forever" He has been vetted, neutered and microchipped and is ready to make “in the middle of the night into your dreams” and home to you! If you’re thinking that your family is ready for a truly special boy, read on for his story and instructions on how to add him to your lives! Please also check out his siblings Jet and Boots!

Here is what we know about this “stealing hearts” pup:

- He is @ 9 months old now, and weighs approximately 70lbs! His birthday is in May!
- These pups will be medium/large when full grown.
- Hank and his siblings have been thriving in foster care for the last few months and are ready to land in their forever homes! Foster mom says they are are very sweet group of pups just looking for a home to call their own.
- Hank is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health
- Hank is a very smart young lad – we expect him to pick up training very quickly! He is already using a doggy door to go potty outside, and is working on his leash training
- Hank and his siblings are still puppies, so will need their future homes to work with them on training and reinforcements.
- Hank loves other dogs, and would do great with a playmate at home who is willing to engage in playtime. Jose has been exposed to dogs of all sizes in foster care, and is a very social boy!
- Hank hasn’t been exposed to cats, but we think he would do just fine with a “dog savvy” cat who could tolerate some puppy antics!
- Because Hank and his siblings are full of puppy antics, we are recommending that they go to a family with kids 6 and up, or dog savvy family who understands puppy boundaries. Hank has been exposed to children and has done well.
-We would love to see Hank go to an active home that will have lots of dedicated playtime as he grows!
