Habi Mixed Breed Bettendorf, IA

Habi ( Habanero) is around five months and is looking for his forever home. His unique looks make him pretty dang cute but his personality is even cuter.

Habi is so sweet and lovable. He is one big clumsy puppy. He loves to play, run but may fall or trip over his big feet. He attempts to jump when playing but only clears about 1 inch of air. He loves to be in the bed with family to cuddle but does really well on his dog bed too. He just likes to be around his people

Habi is crate trained and working on house training. He can get a little scared going out at night in the dark. He typically needs a little bit of coaxing and support at that time. He does do well in the car.

Habi doesn't know any commands quite yet but does know what "no" means. He still puppy bites occasionally but will stop when corrected. Like any puppy, Habi would benefit from positive reinforcement training and socialization. He does do well on a leash.

Habi is dog friendly- he loves playing with all of the other dogs in his foster home but is not always good at reading cues when some of the other dogs don’t want to play with him. We have not had him around cats but his energy might be too much for them. We have not had him around young kids so a meet and greet with all children would be required.

Habi's energy is as expected for a puppy. He loves to play, cuddle and then take a nap. He enjoys his bed as this is probably the first time he has gotten one! He loves being outside in the yard to run and play. He really is a wonderful, happy and lovable puppy!

He has an adoption fee of $250. He's neutered and current on all shots and prevention. To meet him, please submit an application at

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
