Meet Gus
Meet Gus!
This handsome boy is energetic, curious and is eagerly searching for his forever home. He should be a medium size dog and is the perfect size for being your best buddy out on a hike or working the farm. While his exact breed mix cannot be confirmed without a DNA test, he appears to resemble a labrador retriever.
Not much is known about Gus's past, as he was found as a stray. He is currently residing in a foster environment, patiently awaiting his forever family. Observations indicate that he has a genuinely sweet and kind demeanor and would make an excellent companion for most households. A patient and relaxed owner would be ideal to allow him to live his best life!
Gus has had positive interactions with other shelter dogs and can be considered dog friendly. However, his exposure to cats has been limited, so his behavior around them is uncertain. He has had little exposure to children, and given his sweet nature, it is believed that he would do well with respectful children who understand boundaries. He loves being close to you and is great on a leash.
As a young adult dog, Gus would thrive in a relaxed setting while still providing him with the physical activity he deserves.
