Grizzly Adams SAT Great Pyrenees & American Eskimo Dog Mix San Antonio, TX

Grizzly Adams (aka Grizz) first came to TGPR as a 5 month old puppy who had survived being on his own. He was soon adopted, but after two years, life with that family didnt work out. He is now a happy and handsome 2 year old pocket Pyr with a beautiful white coat and fluffy tail. Grizz weighs 70 pounds and appears to have American Eskimo genes as well as Great Pyrenees. His coat is pure white and as soft as cashmere. And he has gorgeous eye liner that Cleopatra would envy! Understandably, as an abandoned puppy, he was scared and uncertain. He is still cautious when approached by new people or dogs, but shows no anger. In fact, Grizz has terrific emotional IQ . His new foster was amazed at how quickly he fit in with her four big Pyrs and willingly took direction from them. Grizzly was originally crate-trained, but he prefers to choose his own place to sleep or hang out. He can be trusted with freedom in the house and loves to be wherever the action is. He is also great on the leash and enjoys going for daily walks and car rides. He gets so excited when its walk time that he prances! This young adventurer is going to be a wonderful companion for the right adopters!
