Griffin! Miniature Schnauzer & Terrier Mix Roseville, CA

HI there and meet Griffin!!


Griffins estimated bday is May/June 2023 and he weighs 26 lbs currently. He and his brother were abandoned at a young age.  His genetics show that he is 32 percent schnauzer and 31 percent chihuahua with other stuff in the background.  Griffin demonstrates the terrier traits strongly so terrier experience is a real plus!  He has a strong personality and can be intense. We have been working on his social skills and training in foster and are definitely making gains.


Griffin is potty trained. He knows the dog door.  He sleeps in his crate at night and is crated when foster mom is out of the house. He walks daily but is still working on leash manners.  He gets along with the other pups in the house. That said,  Griffin does need proper, supervised, slower meets with other dogs.  He does not like large boisterous pups but was fine with a neutral big dog. Griffin is energetic and needs exercise to help him relax. Children would be very challenging for this pup. A routine and strong leadership will be a must for success.

4.  A fenced yard. No apartments.
