Grey Hound Argyle, NY

Grey is a 5.5 Month old neutered male Hound mix. From his foster- “Grey is doing great in our foster home! We haven't started any basic commands yet but I can already tell he'll be easy to train. He's learning all the house manners/rules with what he can and can't do, definitely just wants to please his humans! He's happy, gentle, and sweet. He sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate. He loves to be with us, loves to snuggle. He loves people and gentle with kids. We don't have a cat but he's young enough to learn to respect them. He doesn't mind being on the leash, not a huge puller.

He definitely has that very loud Coonhound bark/howl/bay. It's not that it's uncontrollable, he minds well... Just something to consider if you have close neighbors/ apartment.”

Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

Grey is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
