Meet Grey
As you can imagine, as a rescue, we meet a lot of truly great dogs and though we love them all some just stand out more than others. Grey is one of those dogs. When we first met Grey she had just been taken from very neglectful owners, where she was overbred, underfed, and had numerous bite marks from being attacked by another dog in the home. But even at her worst, all she wanted was some affection and snuggles.
Now, two months later, Grey still bears some of the scars from her previous life but has blossomed into a snuggly, snorty, tail wiggling (though it's broken and looks like a little piglet's tail), social belle .
Grey loves everyone she meets and is social with people of all ages; she has even attended some teen anti-violence classes and loved going from person to person distributing kisses and tail wags.
Grey is also good with other dogs and though she can be shy with them at first, she will start play bowing and bouncing around once she feels comfortable and is ready to play! As you can see in her photo, Grey likes snuggling up by her foster sister and is happy to share the bed!
As with all One Tail dogs, Grey has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Her adoption fee of $200 goes directly towards helping us care for all OTAT dogs. If you'd like to make a donation to help, visit http://www.onetail.org/donate/.
If you are interested in Grey or simply have questions, please email AnnaOTAT@gmail.com. To see all of the wonderful dogs just waiting for their forever homes, go to www.onetail.org.
