MEET GRETCHEN - Gretchen and her sisters and brother were found in a box on a busy highway. They were covered in fleas, urine, feces and very thin. A kind lady took them in and tried to help them the best she could. The 3 sisters and 1 brother simply became too much for this lady, so she reached out to animal control to help. Animal control contacted GDRST to help these puppies., They are now 6-7 months old, and are being cared for by fosters with GDRST. They are very sweet puppies, but they are puppies and need direction and some socialization. They do appear to be crate trained and potty trained. They will receive their last vaccines in the next couple of weeks and will need to be spayed. They seek out love from their humans, and can be pushy with other dogs. Again that goes back to some basic training. They are all super sweet and they love kids! They would be a great family dog as they have the great dane temperment but the size of a lab. Best combo ever!
ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $250.00
In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative
Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
