Meet Granola! Granola is a 4-year old male Lab mix who came to us as a stray from Cranberry Township after riding shotgun with the dog warden. Granola is certainly a character who will keep you on your toes! Once he’s welcomed you into his pack, his true self starts to shine! Granola is your typical water obsessed lab who could splash and play in the doggy pool for hours. This handsome boy is a ball of fun, ready to play fetch at absolutely any moment. Although this butt wiggler is the total package, he requires someone who is willing to go slow (with minimal physical movements and lots of patience). Due to his wariness and need for a high-level of comfortability, any interested applicant would need to be open to multiple visitations prior to an adoption. We’re certain Granola’s person is out there. His ideal furever family is one who has a calm home environment, is understanding and patient, and is ready to build the bond of a lifetime! Due to his wariness, Granola is looking for a child-free home. We also recommend Granola meets everyone who lives in the home and visits the home often. During Granola’s original test, we were unable to do a dog or cat test due to his high level of stress. If there are other dogs in the home, a dog introduction would be required. If there are feline friends living in the home, we would need to test him.
