Grace Black and Tan Coonhound Mix Rochester, NY

GRACE is a gorgeous Black & tan coonhound who is estimated around 4-5 years old. Her foster raves about her and how sweet and loving she is. She's housebroken and friendly with other dogs (but is better fed separately than other animals) and people. She loves playing with her foster doggie sibling and taking long walks. She was crate trained with her previous foster (doesn't need to be crated for any particular reason) but does NOT love the crate. That's about the only time you'll hear her typical hound baying some into play, when she's letting her displeasure be known about that! :D She's about 70 lbs. (Grace is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, at the rescue’s expense, and is expected to make a full recovery. She'll be retested after 6 months to confirm her negative status.)

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip at ~6 months at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We are still doing application processing virtually since COVID-19. Dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS, and masks are welcomed but not required. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there are NO DOGS KEPT AT THE SHOP.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada -sorry!)
