Gorgeous sweet Chantilly Chihuahua & Rat Terrier Mix West Hartford , CT

This absolutely darling, sweet, green eyed beauty of an angel is Chantilly! Her foster mom originally named her Chantilly, but now just calls this sweet baby girl Tilly. This adorable little peanut was found by a crew working on a property that has a house fire. Little Chantilly was curled up in the barn on the property, likely having been abandoned by the family there after their house burned. She was doing her best to survive living in this old barn, coming out to find food and trying to stay safe at night hidden in the barn. It was so sad and the people working on the property began feeding her and their hearts just broke for her. They tried to find help for her and fortunately a fabulous foster home heard her story and went to meet her and just couldn’t resist her gentle soul, and happily brought her home.
Tilly began having all of her vet work done! This girl has been given a clean bill of health! The vets say she’s about a 18 months old or so, and she’s currently weight 13.5 lbs. She has had her vaccines, deworming, heartworm test, microchip, she’s current on preventative, and she is now spayed! She’s absolutely thriving, and ready to build a wonderful life with parents who love her!
Chantilly is doing absolutely amazing in foster care! She is quiet and easy going with the kitties in the house, and has made fast friends with the other pups. She is a social butterfly sign animals but her true love is her people. She is most definitely a tender, sweet girl who is happy to cuddle on your lap and be your best friend. She is wonderful in the house and reliably goes potty outside! She snuggles up with her foster parents and sleeps in the bed through the night! This girl is excellent on the car and loves to take rides! She would love to go on a pup cup date with you! She does great on walks and is just so grateful to be in a place in life where she is well fed, warm, snuggled, and getting lots of love. She enjoys playing with toys and her personality is definitely a fabulous combination is silly, snuggly, and devoted!
She most definitely has a baby like temperament and will thrive in a home where she will have doting parents and a loving home environment! She is ready to get along with any animal, and can have a flexible lifestyle as long as she gets her cuddle time in and has a loving relationship with her new parents! Tilly is a fantastic size, being small enough to carry and take anywhere and do anything, but not so tiny that she’s too delicate to go on a hike or play sometimes with a bigger doggy friend! She’s loving, intelligent, resilient, devoted, and truly such a wonderful companion.
