Gordy 122777 Boston Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Newark, NJ

Gordy is a stocky little dark brindle and white Boston Terrier/ Pittie mix. He is approximately 8 months old and is very loving. Gordy loves to be pet and lets you touch everything from his smooshy face to his puppy toes. This puppy actually has good leash manners and knows how to sit for rewards. This playful guy had no idea what to make of toys or rawhide and he shared his food dish with us without issue, but was a little rough in his haste for yummy treats. With a little training this can be resolved easily and what better way to bond with a new puppy than some basic obedience classes? Gordy is fabulously behaved with dogs of all sizes and cats too. This puppy is just waiting for his chance at a family to love, could that family be yours?

The Society cannot accept personal checks but we do accept Visa, MC, AE, Discover and cash. As part of our adoption process, we must have proof of residency. Homeowners must show proof of ownership; landlord approval is required for renters before an adoption can be approved..Attention rescues: The Newark shelter is very rescue-friendly. THE SOCIETY OFFERS FREE DVDs ON ALL CAT & DOG ADOPTIONS
With each adoption, the Society will present a DVD on TRAINING YOUR DOG or YOUR ADOPTED CAT at no charge. The dog video will include problems with chewing, jumping, mouthing, etc., but who trains a cat? There are $300 worth of free coupons offered with the dog video and $100 in free coupons for each cat adopter.
