Goofy is a 2 year old Shepherd/Dane mix who lives up to his name perfectly! This big, silly boy is loving, playful, and spirited! Goofy is a toy-loving, leash carrying, belly-rub enthusiast who is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves meeting new people! He had a blast greeting EVERY customer at Underground Books! He is a big ole boy, weighing about 75 lbs and standing over hip high on the average adult. Goofy would thrive in a home with a big yard to explore, and would do best with older kids or adults, since he can't resist jumping up for hugs. He does well with both cats and other dogs. Goofy enjoys running in the park and being a big love bug! This big ole baby might be mostly muscle, but he is full of love that he is ready to share with everyone! Goofy needs a family who is able to handle his size, but we do think he would live his best life in a home where he can play outside and also come in at night to sleep on a big fluffy dog bed! He is super smart and with a bit of training, he'll be the perfect protector and loyal best friend. If you are looking for a playful, loving companion, Goofy is your boy!

The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
