Meet Ginny
Ginny came into rescue when her owner died and no one in the family could keep her.
Ginny is a sweet, gentle, blind female 10 year old Shih Tzu mix. She weighs about 12 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.
Ginny is just perfection! She's good with other dogs and loves people/children. She can be cat tested upon request, but we expect no issues. Kids 10 and over is best due to her size, and that she cant see.Ginny is fully housebroken and crate trained, which she doesnt mind at all. She walks gently on a leash. She is a quiet dog that hardly barks and just wants to be with her humans. Shes a lap dog at heart, and given the chance thats where shell be. But if the timing isnt right shes fine if you tell her no and she will find an alternative spot.Please note that although Ginny is blind, she adjusts beautifully to new environments. Shes great at mapping the house and getting oriented quickly. Until she is completely oriented, she is best in her crate when left alone for periods of time so she doesnt get lost. Shes an active girl even tho shes blind - shes calm and friendly and likes meeting new people. We are not sure yet would commands she knows, but she does come when called.
Ginny is a wonderful dog who will make a great companion. She can live almost anywhere because shes so quiet apartment, townhouse or private home. Come meet this cutie pie shes the sweetest!
