Are you ready to SPICE UP YOUR LIFE?! The Spice Girl pups are ready to rock your world!

Meet the Spice Girl litter - Posh, Sporty, Baby and Ginger Spice! These little ladies are about 5 1/2 months old, and we are guessing they are some sort of Lab mix. As of 12/23/24, Ginger Spice weighs 23 pounds. We are expecting these pups to be about 50-60 pounds once they are fully grown!

These Spice Girls were found after they had been dumped in a ditch in the woods. We are so happy we found them and were able to rescue them. We're happy to report they are social, sweet, happy and healthy and ready to find their forever families! These pups are ready to tell you what they want, what they really, really want.... and that's a loving home to call their own!

Foster mom update: Ginger is a sweet cuddly puppy. She does great in the car (sleeps for the ride) and is a good listener in the yard. She is great with other dogs and extremely playful/silly. She has even managed to get a 14 year old dog to play with her. Ginger met a crowd of folks at a family gathering during the holidays and was super sweet and social with everyone. She has never met a cat but her disposition seems pretty gentle so it is worth cat testing her and giving the friendship a chance. Her style of play is not to bite with her mouth but to lick, pounce, and toss her little body all around. She hasn't met any small humans yet; however, because she isn't presently mouthy (puppies tend to be) we think a family with young children could work great. Ginger is working on bathroom manners. She is not quite there yet and doesn't seem to have a regular potty schedule (or we haven't settled into one yet). She is incredible in the crate she loves to curl up and sleep in there. She isn't overly vocal and doesn't make much of a fuss. She sleeps through the night easily. Ginger is a sweet puppy ready to be trained, loved, and welcomed into her new family's home.



Ginger came to a Meet and Greet event yesterday and the Spice Girls were stars!
So silly and playful. These girls met so many people and did amazing. They are uber cute, puppy soft and sweeeeet. Ginger is are going to make her forever family so happy!!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
