Meet Gina!
Looking for a loving companion with a heart of gold? Gina, a 2-year-old lab mix with a charming stubby tail, is here to steal your heart!
This sweet girl is currently being fostered in Vermont. She was adopted, but it wasn’t the perfect fit and she is looking for a new family! She loves kids, but became overly protective to the point where she was guarding the kids from the parents. She might do better in a home with older kids or without kids. She also was very nervous at first and might do better with another pup to show her the ropes of a new household. She gets along fine with other dogs and cats. She loves the snow! She will be nervous at first especially inside, but once she warms up she is the sweetest dog.
Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be.
This dog was previously fostered in Mississippi. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
