Gina
Oh sweet Gina....you gentle giant. Whatever will we do with you?
From the moment Gina came to us, our hearts have broken for this poor girl.
At barely a year old, she has clearly suffered a life of abuse. Even when she is being the sweetest, she always thinks she's naughty. After months of having her, she's just finally coming out of her shell & showing us how lovely she can be!
Not that she wasn't lovely from the start, she just had a sadness about her that is starting to fade at last & that makes us happy!
Gina is an AMAZING dog! She gets along with all the animals on the farm, loves kids & all kind people. She is currently living with 8 other dogs and does great with all of them. Even when the naughty border collie herds everyone and drives her batty, she still responds respectfully and with kindness. She did have an issue with fixating on a cat in one of her previous foster homes, but we have not seen that here & she has successfully lived with cats in the past.
This girl is a BIG gal. She doesn't know how gallump-y she is! Being a giant puppy, she is unaware of her size. She sometimes needs a little guidance, but is quickly corrected. While she is gentle, small kiddos are maybe a no go as she doesn't have body awareness at the moment.
Gina rides well in the car + is great off lead + kennel & potty trained + knows her basic commands + is fully vetted & micro-chipped. She is SUCH a good girl. Her only areas where she needs some work is knowing her size, which will come with maturity & learning to respect fencing. She just wants to be with her people!
Her perfect family would be someone patient, active & kind. And they must love BIG dogs! :-)
