Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized

Housebroken: Almost! He has been doing well overall on a consistent routine and with positive reinforcement.
Crate trained: He has done well in his crate overnight (up to 9 hours) as well as when home alone (up to 3 hours). He can take some time to settle when he is crated while his human is still home, and will bark for a short time initially.
Leash walking: Doing well! He has had very good leash manners so far!
Dog social: He lives with a resident dog in his foster home and has been doing well! He has also done great on playdates with other dogs.
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: Unknown, but he would likely do best with older kids as he can become mouthy (play bite) when overstimulated
Gilbert likes:
- Stuffed toys, chew toys...all the toys!
- Being near his person
- Learning new things!
Gilbert is truly the sweetest little man - from his gentle snores during nap time to his little flops for scratches. He is so smart, so silly, and extremely loving and just wants to be with you (and his toys). We don't think he fully knows where his legs are just yet so he's a very adorably floppy boy right now. He can become slightly mouthy (play bite) when overstimulated, but has been easily redirected to an appropriate toy. He has otherwise been doing well with learning all the basics, and would love a home where he can continue to learn more and more!
Gilbert's adoption fee is $300, and he is ready to give his love to his person!
