GiGi Miniature Schnauzer Oklahoma City, OK

This beautiful girl is GiGi!

GiGi is a 4.5 year old miniature Schnauzer that currently weighs 20 lbs. She is a retired breeder dog.

She is playful and likes to play with toys. She gets along great with all the small dogs she has met. She is learning how to play with other dogs but so far that consists mostly of zoomies in the backyard. She gets really excited for treats.

She’s fairly outgoing when meeting new people in the home. She’s starting to give doggy kisses. She likes to sit in your lap but she’s just as comfortable sitting near you. She’s a great blend between cuddly & independent. She still gets the occasional scare when she hears loud noises. She rides in a car very well.

A secure fenced yard is required. It’s something she’s never had freedom to enjoy before joining the rescue and she absolutely loves spending time outside. She likes chasing the squirrels out of the tree. When she barks she uses what I would call an inside voice. She would make an excellent addition to a home with other dogs & with the right home she could well as an only dog.

GiGi is crate trained but you should know she’s lived her entire life in some sort of confinement. She’s working on her leash & house training and will need continued assistance and patience. She loves having a doggy door going in & out whenever she wants. In her foster home she currently likes sleeping in her foster parents bed.

GiGi is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. She has also had a recent dental. Her adoption fee is $200.
