Georgie Mixed Breed Columbus, OH

Playful Georgie is an approximately 10-month-old, 40 pound mixed breed. He's still growing and is estimated to be 50 pounds when full grown. He may have applications in progress, but is currently available.

Do you like to play? So does Georgie! Balls, tug of war with a rope toy, chew toys - anything - you name it, Georgie wants to play with it. More than anything though, this boy just wants to be loved. He spent most of his short life in a shelter and now wants to make up for all the love he missed out on. He is house and crate trained. He's learning a lot quickly, including his house manners and not to jump on people. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children - older children who can be a part of his continuing education would be preferred.

Georgie also enjoys cuddles and is highly food motivated. In his perfect world he would get to play and cuddle as much as he can.

Georgie plays well with other dogs. The little dogs in his foster home do not enjoy an energetic play style, and though he has energy, he has learned to respect thier boundaries. He is also living with cats in his foster home and like most things and people, he is curious and interested in the cats, but doesn't chase them. Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
