Georgie - ADOPTED!!! Maltese Mount Bethel, PA

Meet Georgie! Georgie is 2-3 years old and only 8 lbs. We believe Georgie is a cute, little Maltese mix.

He was found as a stray and taken to a city shelter. This poor boy was so completely matted that they initially thought he was a girl. Georgie received a complete shave to give him a fresh start and he’s feeling much better.

He is the sweetest, happiest, most playful, friendly, perfect family pup. He doesn’t know how to play with toys or what they are yet. Georgie wasn’t too sure what to make of the different dog beds in his foster home and he’s not yet comfortable sleeping in them, which makes his foster think he’s never had his own doggie bed or even shared one with another pup. He’s learning to enjoy all the good things in life with the help of his foster family and his foster fur siblings.

Georgie loves attention. He loves to snuggle. He loves to be held. He craves love and attention.

Georgie would do best in a home with another pup or two that could teach him the ropes and fill him in about the beauty of life. He’s a submissive boy but very playful so a single dog at home that doesn’t want to be bothered may not be a good fit. Georgie would be an excellent family pup. We are working on all skills like potty training and so far he’s doing really well. Don’t miss this chance to scoop up sweet Georgie!

Georgie is fully vetted including core vaccines (he will need a distemper booster in 2 weeks), neuter, dental cleaning and polish, microchip, and has been treated with flea/tick/hw preventative. Georgie's adoption fee is $450.

- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.

- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible. If a dog is listed for adoption, it means we have not yet approved an adopter and are still accepting applications.

- PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY APPROVED ADOPTERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO MEET OUR RESCUES - WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE AND ALL OF OUR DOGS LIVE WITH US AS FAMILY.
