GEORGIA is a darling Pit Bull/Lab mix! She is 1.5 years old and she weighs 47 lbs. Georgia is an absolute peach! She's affectionate and gentle and she loves people and loves attention. She's good with other dogs. She rides nicely in the car and is easy to walk on leash. She also loves treats! Georgia has some scarring on her head-- she came in with what looked like road rash on her head. It's all healed up and she's very healthy now, but it left scars. Georgia is a sweetheart and she's cute as can be-- she's ready to be a wonderful companion.
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
