Meet Gemma!
This adorable girl was on the short list from a shelter in the 559. Thankfully a foster stepped up and we were able to save her in the nick of time.
Gemma had been in the foster home since August 6 and is doing very well. At first she was scared and timid but with a kind, loving person that gave her reassurance she has begun to blossom.
Gemma’s foster mama has this to say about her…”I literally love this girl! Gemma is crate trained, leash trained and potty trained. She shares a room with little Cookie who is leaving Saturday! She scratches her crate every morning at 5:am to go potty. Does her thing and runs back inside. She’s really has a story to tell! Her crate is full of toys she tears the potty pads, drinks her water and loves her treats and looks forward to them every day ! Typical Heeler behavior, Gemma will eat anything that you put in front of her. Listens to dog music and rest most of the day watching the TV. Gemma barked at the maintenance man but is usually quiet. She will need someone that is patient and will allow her time to develop trust.”
Gemma is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently located in the Fresno area in a foster home.
