Meet Geisha Maggie - 287
Geisha (now known as Maggie) was adopted as a puppy. Sadly, her adopter could no longer keep her due to an illness, so EARS got her back. Maggie is about 12 years old and weighs about 7 lbs. She is a really sweet dog who is a bit shy until she knows a person and then she will happily greet them. She is a very easy dog and is good with other dogs. She rides well in the car and likes to go on walks. She loves to jump on the couch and find a nice cozy pillow to cuddle up to.
Because of her small size, we do not recommend Maggie to families with children under 6.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
