NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS - NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
NEW INTAKE 10/30/2024: Garnet - female - approx DOB 9/18/2024 - 2.2 pounds - Dachshund/Chihuahua mix
Reason for intake: Well, she was posing so cute that we took a bunch of pictures and then couldn't decide which one to use for her intake photo and decided WE WILL USE THEM ALL! We were reached out to by the mother of a young man who could not take care of a young puppy and couldn't afford vet care. She asked if we could take her and here she is in all her glory. She's very wormy but we're taking care of all of that. She also has no vaccination history so she'll need to go through some vaccinations before she'll be ready for adoption so stay tuned!
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.416768288349589&type=3 OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
