What an cutie smoosh face! Behold FRODO WAGGINS! Applicants preferably understand the nerdy reference. Mr. Waggins is an utter sweet & squishy boy who is generally unperturbed by the commotion around him - he just lays down and snoozes. Staff say, "He's such a babydoll!

Frodo Waggins would be a WONDERFUL family dog with kids, likely with other pups and even potentially with cats (simply based on his personality). This guy rarely barks, but when he does it's a high pitched yap that doesn't quite seem to fit - LOL. He's low-key & self sufficient, displaying virtually no anxiety. He doesn't even react to dogs that may not like him. FW is not much interested in moving at high speeds or fetching, but likes his stuffies and rope toys. On walkies, he is good on a leash; just moseying along wherever he goes. He even appears house-trained! Frodo Waggins is a curious boy without seeming destructive; and is extremely gentle, but occasionally jumps out of excitement. He knows basic commands, like "sit" and is quite treat motivated! If you're lucky, he'll give you sweet, gentle smooches. So adorable!

Potential adopters should know that, like many pitties, he's got some skin sensitivities/allergies that >likely< come from chicken. We use high quality Hill's Science Diet, but he'll likely need to switch to salmon- or lamb-based kibbles (also available under HSD) to be the healthiest boi he can be.

Neutered, microchipped - yep! Frodo Waggins is PRE-ADOPTABLE/eligible for FOSTER-TO-ADOPT while he gets the rest of his booster vaxxes within a week or two as of 12/02/24.
