Meet Frodo
Hi! My name is Frodo and I am so excited to announce that I am finally in Maine!
I'm a big goof ball at almost 2 years old. I think I might be a husky/shepherd mix. I was found at a gas station in Mississippi by a college student who picked me up and brought me to the rescue!
I love, love, love to play! I would love a brother or sister who will play with me! I really like to play with toys, so I must have heavy duty toys in my new home. I love running around outside, playing fetch, and chasing squirrels. I might not do good in a home with kitties... I might think they're toys.
I absolutely love attention, and love to snuggle up with my humans, especially when they're petting me! I love a good belly rub! I love long walks and have recently started to enjoy quick jogs with my foster dad! I would love a family who'd be willing to bring me on new adventures!
I am a big boy, with an even bigger heart! I'm just waiting patiently for my forever home to find me!
Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming and transport fees.
Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300
Almost Home Rescue of New England is a 501 c 3 non-profit rescue; rescuing dogs since 2005. All Adoption applications are completed on line at www.almosthomerescue.net
This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine or New Hampshire is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.
PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, have had annual heartworm tests, and are on heartworm preventative at least 6 months of the year. Current pets must by spayed/neutered.
Imported dogs are transported on a USDA approved transport with a Health Certificate. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to getting on transport.
