Meet Freya
Meet Freya! Freya is an 8 year old Boxer mix. Freya is the sweetest girl who was picked up from a local shelter. Ever since entering her foster home, Freya has shown her loving and goofy personality by playing with the other dogs in the home, cuddling her foster parents, and welcoming visitors with a wagging tail and her usual smiling face.
Freya’s favorite pastime is cuddling in bed and getting belly rubs. Freya is a very easygoing dog who adapts well to many different lifestyles. When her foster siblings want to play, she’s happy to run around with them and get some energy out. When it’s time to relax, Freya could spend all day laying on the couch with her foster parents. She loves to give a gentle tap with her paw to remind her foster parents that she would like to be pet. When her foster parents listen to music, she loves to sing along by howling and wagging her tail. When it’s dinner time, Freya shows her excitement by tapping her paws and wiggling her butt in true boxer fashion.
Freya walks incredibly well on a leash and with prompts such as “come” or “leave it”, she’s happy to stick beside her foster parents, even when distractions are present. Freya also loves the car and does well with car rides of any length. She is completely crate trained and sleeps in her crate with her favorite blankie every night. Freya is not picky about treats and is happy to take whatever treat is being offered to her very gently.
Freya's dream home is one filled with warmth, laughter, and plenty of snuggles. If you're a family who loves road trips, you'll find the perfect travel companion in Freya, who adores rides in the car and exploring new adventures with her loved ones.
Her adoption fee is $250, which includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies and DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
