Frenchie & Hunter Havanese Mix Warwick, RI

Frenchie & Hunter have been together for hunters whole life so we are placing them together. If our calculations are correct she is either his mother or his grandmother. Frenchie is 7 or 8 yrs old and Hunter is 2 1/2, they are both about 17 lbs and are very timid with new people because they were not properly socialized. They are not suitable for a home with children so we need an adult home. When they are comfortable they are very friendly with their people but they will be a flight risk with new people in a new environment therefore whomever ends up adopting them will need to visit multiple times prior to taking them home, so that they are comfortable with the people which will reduce the risk of them wanting to get away. We did this with another pair that came from the same house and it worked perfectly. For this reason we are not placing them out of Rhode Island. They came from a hoarding situation so they will need a little work with housebreaking. Frenchie has a coat that will require regular grooming which is an added expense and should be taken into consideration. Once these guys are settled into a new home they will be a lot of fun, they play together all the time.
