Freddy Black Mouth Cur & Boxer Mix Spencer, IN

Have you read the “Forgotten Freddy” children’s book that’s available on Amazon? Freddy is the star of that book. He is a Black Mouth Cur-Boxer mix who weighs around 40 pounds.

Can you imagine growing up in a shelter? Freddy has started taking day trips to see the outside world. As far as we know, until this he had never seen a stoplight. He hadn’t seen people in groups walking around town. He had never seen a tractor. He had never heard a rooster crow. These new experiences have been so exciting for him!

Freddy is a bundle of energy so if you’re looking for a couch potato, he isn’t the dog for you. He is very sweet and eager to please, though. If he is allowed the exercise he needs, he is very affectionate and can be a snuggler. If you are a runner, a hiker or any type of athlete, Freddy could be your dream dog. He would be incredibly loyal to the person or family rescuing him.

Freddy sits well for treats and is very treat motivated. He is working on his leash training and does well with a no pull harness.

This boy would bloom if he could ever find a family of his own.
