Meet Frankie
Personality: outgoing, loyal, goofy/funny, eager-to-please, adventurous, easygoing, adaptable, playful, good running partner, trustworthy, smart, energetic, and affectionate.
Hi there! I'm Frankie and I am looking for my furever home. Could that be you?
I LOVE people and will entertain you for hours with my goofy and funny personality. I guarantee to keep you active because I am a great running/walking partner. And even though I am a big goofball, I know my manners - I know where to do my business and am happy to hang in my crate while you are out and about! After a good outdoor session, I love to cuddle and play with my toys. I will be by your side as your faithful pal furever.
So, what do you say? Shall we make it a date? Put on your walking shoes and maybe we can go for a walk. I will show you my winning personality and some of my goofy tricks. My foster says I am a gem of a dog, and I want to prove that to you too!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
