Frankie Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Bellingham, WA

Frankie is a 5-year-old Blue Heeler with a sweet heart. He's a loyal companion who loves his humans and excels as a watchdog. Frankie enjoys outdoor adventures, especially playing fetch with a ball or frisbee. He's always the first to greet you when you come home and gets a bit sad when you leave.

Potty trained and incredibly smart, Frankie can be a bit stubborn at times. He knows several commands but may test his independence when off-leash. As an only dog, he prefers a solo lifestyle. He does well on a leash, though he may bark or attempt to assert dominance when passing other dogs. With consistent walks, I believe this behavior can improve.

Having lived with cats his entire life, Frankie is gentle with them but has a natural herding instinct. He would do well with older kids but is not suited for a home with small children, as he may react when provoked or stressed.

Frankie is due for his latest shots but is otherwise healthy, with no known health concerns. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and run freely, without other dogs or small children. Regular exercise and attention are essential for him.

Weighing about 50 lbs, Frankie has medium-length black and white fur and is not neutered. He may take some time to acclimate to a new environment since he has been with us his whole life, but once he gets to know you, he will show his affection.
