Frankie Terrier Mix Springdale, PA

Look into my beautiful brown eyes...are you in love yet? Hi! I'm Frankie, a super sweet, 15 lb., 3 year old terrier mix. I'm a fun, energetic little guy who likes to roll around on the couch for a minute, then run around with my foster buddies for a couple, then find a toy to chew, and after a bit of that, I'm all about snuggling with you under a blanket on the couch. If you want to play, I'm up for that. You want a snuggle sesh? Need a hug? I'm your guy. Foster mom says I'm one of the best snugglers she's ever met. Oh, and I really like you to pet my chest - I even help by reaching out to let you know it's time --I tend to overreach and catch foster mom's face instead of her hand, so it'd probably be best if I wasn't in a home with little kids. And cats---are---so much fun to chase!!! (so no cats, please). I get along well with all of the dogs in my foster home, and like to snuggle with them, too.

I'm working on that housetraining thing, but haven't quite figured it out yet...mostly because when I first came I was too scared to even go outside at all. I'm still cautious when we go outside, and it's still pretty new to me, so I'll need my new family to be patient and willing to continue working on building my confidence in new surroundings. I'm highly food motivated, and I do go potty when I'm taken outside. I just recently went on my first real walk around an entire block. I was nervous, but I met a young girl and her mom, and enjoyed sniffing everything. Now that I'm comfortable in my foster home, I'm pretty outgoing at home, but I'm likely to be shy and nervous at first when I go to my new home. I think I'll adapt faster now that I'm getting love and snuggles every day. I am so ready to leave my past behind and start my new life with my forever family.
