Frank Pit Bull Terrier Aurora, IL

Hi my name is Frank! I am a 1 year old big boy but don't let my size fool you because I'm the biggest cuddle bug! I was dumped at a police station! Thank goodness a nice police officer took me home and got me into a foster home because I hear animal control can be a scary place for a pup like me. I have been staying with my girls at Ruffner's until I find my forever home. I thought I found my forever home once but that only lasted 3 weeks. Even though the girls at Ruffner's told them I have a lot of separation anxiety from being dumped and moving homes, they still put me in a crate for 8+ hours a day. It made my separation anxiety even worse and they returned me. Before I was adopted I was also doing great playing in groups of dogs but after I was returned I was nervous with dogs. My girls at Ruffner's aren't really sure what happened during those 3 weeks I was gone but it definitely wasn't good. I would do best in a home were someone can be home with me until I feel safe enough to be left on my own. I'm very smart and food motivated and I love going on walks! I love to chew on bones and play fetch. I really don't like cats so I think with proper introduction I would be okay with other dogs around my size.
