Meet Francis

Ooh-la-la. "Francis" means "Frenchman" and with my elegant dark and shiny fur, I have owned the rights to this name.

The previous chapter of my life was not an easy one, and when I first got here to the shelter, I was quite scared. But time, patience, and treats (chicken, anyone?) have helped me come out of my shell and learn to trust again. I really blossom and open up when I am with another pup pal, and I would love to go to a home with another dog who can help me come out of my shell.

I am so ready to start a better chapter -- and I am hoping you are too and that you have an open heart and mind, along with some chicken treats, to help me. And when we will be out on our walks (with a doggie friend) everyone will say "ooh-la-la" -- what an amazing family!
