Sugary sweet Franny girl would like to bounce right into her new home!! This fluffy girl is estimated to be around 9 months old. She was found as a stray so her exact breed is unknown but our best guess is that she's a "mini ausiedoodle" (toy poodle/australian shepherd mix). Franny weighs around 30 lbs.

While we don't know any of Franny's history prior to being found as a stray, we unfortunately speculate that she was a situation of someone getting a cute, fluffy, designer breed puppy and then putting no time into training their new furry friend. Because of this, Franny is behind the 8 ball in terms of house training, crate training and basic manners. Franny is not house trained or crate trained and will require an experienced, patient owner to continue to work on these skills with her. She tends to jump on new people and attempts to counter surf but is quickly learning that those behaviors are not so polite.

Franny walks okay on leash (doesn't pull but gets excited by squirrels, rabbits, etc) and likes to switch sides and cut the person who is walking her off. . . oops! Franny is excellent with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a canine companion in her new home. Because Franny is a jumper and can be a chewer if not properly supervised, we do not recommend that she go to a home with young children. Because of her excitement around small animals, we also recommend no cats. Please also remember that while absolutely stinkin adorable, Franny's coat will require routine, professional grooming. She came into the rescue severely matted and had to be shaved down and in order to prevent that from happening again, Franny needs to be professionally trimmed every 4-8 weeks and brushed daily. Her grooming visits will cost roughly $80-120 depending on your groomer.

Despite Franny's prior lack of care, this girl is as sweet as can be. She enjoys getting attention, playing with other dogs, playing with stuffed toys and running around in the backyard.
