Meet Forrest!

Forrest is an approximately 14-week old Terrier/Beagle mix and will weigh around 20-25 lbs. as an adult (best guess). Forest entered our rescue when he was 1 week old and we rescued his mom and 9 other siblings from under a shed and gave his mom a safe space to finish raising her 10 babies.

Forest is a typical small breed puppy - Sassy, Silly, and Sweet. He can usually be found “investigating” all the things and reporting his findings back to his foster mom. He is joyful and sweet and perfect for someone who loves to laugh at puppy antics. When he is done playing, he loves to tuck himself into a big fluffy dog bed and blanket to take a long nap.

He is working hard on house training in his foster home and sleeps through the night.

His ideal home will have someone ready to continue a consistent routine/structure with house training and learning manners. Puppy training is a time consuming process that requires patience, and his perfect home will understand that he needs consistency, structure, and training and be able to put that time in while he is young.

Forest’s current favorites include:

Wresting/Running with his siblings
Exploring outside/“stealing” leaves and sticks
Puppy Treats
Hugs and Snuggles
Belly Rubs

Forrest’s ideal forever home will have another playful dog or dogs and maybe even some dog savvy/older kids of his very own! He is good with other dogs. Forrest will not be adopted to a home without another accepting dog. Forrest’s perfect home would have older children only who can interact with his small stature safely. With continued puppy training, this handsome guy is going to make a great life-long companion.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $200.
