Flurry -adoption pending West Highland White Terrier / Westie Rockaway, NJ

Flurry is a beautiful 6 year old female Westie. Friendly and happy temperament. She’s been living in a rural environment with other dogs, cats, and horses, so she’s good around other animals. Would be best, if she’s in a home with other dogs, that it with a male or a larger dog. One other non dominant female is ok. She is a terrier, after all! She’s not accustomed to city living, cramped quarters, or lots of commotion, she’s led a peaceful and quiet life. We are looking for a westie experienced home with a fenced yard, and fencing around any pools or other bodies of water on the property. She would need some housetraining if your environment is different than what she’s used to. Leash training and stairs if you need it, she needed none of that before. She’s smart and can pick things up quickly.
Flurry is spayed, on heartworm preventive year round, and has been vaccinated. She has been diagnosed with a low grade luxating patella (loose kneecap), which does not require surgery, but she’s not going to be an appropriate match for hiking or jogging, just normal activity level. She also has some seasonal allergies in this location, and does well on apoquel as needed. She’s a healthy girl, these are insignificant. She can run and jump just fine.
She is located in southern VA and anyone interested will need to drive there to adopt her. No shipping requests or exceptions please.
