Flower Jack Russell Terrier Mix Alexandria, VA

Flower is a 10 week old, 11 lb female, Jack Russell Terrier/Mix breed.

Flower is currently located in South Texas and will be transported.

Flower is adorable, sweet and petite, and anything but a wallflower! She is quite intelligent and active, with an outsize personality. She enjoys running in the backyard, playing with her many toys (balls and sticks are her favorites) and trying to entice anyone into playing with her. She shares her foster home with 2 older dogs and a fluffy cat (who pretends she doesn't exist). Flower can be a little bossy when she plays, but she accepts corrections from her playmates and really enjoys playing with others. One of her foster siblings has become a playmate and is teaching Flower appropriate dog play skills. With humans she is sweet and cuddly and enjoys attention. She is doing very well with potty training and quickly mastered the doggy door, and is crate trained as well. Flower is a young puppy with that boundless energy that only puppies have, so her energy is best dispersed with some positive playtime and exercise outlets. She is a smart girl who very, very quickly learned some agility tricks (see her video) and would do very well with continued training. As a young puppy, she is just starting to learn to walk on a leash and is very eager to go out and explore the world (all those sticks out there just waiting for her!) She has been socialized and does well in new situations and places, and is very friendly with new people. Although a small dog, she would probably be best in a home with a yard so she could run and explore. Flower would love an active home where she can enjoy long walks, playtime and fun outings, as well as some quality cuddle time with her new family. (Note: Flower is not yet spayed but will be prior to transport)

Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $700 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, microchip and transportation.
